In Houston, Texas, USA, Salvadoran national Jefferson Adonay Velasquez-Torres, 18, has been charged with murder in two separate shooting deaths. According to local NBC affiliate Click2Houston (KPRC) and other outlets, he is accused in a shooting outside the Diosa nightclub in Midtown on April 27, 2026, that killed Noah Ramirez, 27, as well as a shooting at a house party on August 30, 2025, that killed Angel Garcia, 17.
In addition to the two murder charges, he also faces charges of unlawfully carrying a weapon and aggravated robbery. A judge denied him bond on the second murder charge on July 29. Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE) has lodged a detainer, stating he entered the country illegally as a minor in 2014.
