Police re-arrested Oh Yu-in, 25, a South Korean national, unemployed and residing in Ikuno Ward, Osaka City, on July 28, 2026, on suspicion of non-consensual sexual intercourse, filming of sexual acts, production of child pornography, and violating the Act on Punishment of Activities Relating to Child Prostitution and Child Pornography. According to Kansai TV and MBS News, he is accused of using an SNS app's messaging function to lure a ninth-grade girl, 14, with messages such as "I'll pay your train fare, come by train," to a karaoke establishment in Nagoya City, where he allegedly sexually assaulted her and filmed the act on his smartphone.
The suspect had already been arrested and indicted in December 2025 over a similar charge involving a girl then 12, and was arrested again in April 2026 over a charge involving a 9-year-old girl.
