Shizuoka Prefectural Police's Gotemba Station announced in July 2026 that it had arrested a Vietnamese national, 30, living in Osaka City, on suspicion of unauthorized creation and use of private electromagnetic records and theft. According to a report by Shizuoka Broadcasting System, she is accused of conspiring with others to access an online shopping site using another person's debit card information around 12:40 p.m. on July 16, 2025, ordering infant formula worth approximately 10,000 yen at retail, and receiving and stealing the delivery around 8 p.m. on July 18.
